Putting Tip of the Month: The 80/20 Rule
Did you know that confidence accounts for about 80% of successful putting, while technique makes up just 20%? Here's how to boost your putting confidence:
Practice your routine until it becomes second nature. Consistency breeds confidence.
Visualize the ball going in before every putt. See it, believe it, achieve it!
Use distance control drills to develop better feel. Try putting to different targets with your eyes closed.
Remember: The last putt you made is the only one that matters. Let go of misses quickly.
CENTERING THE BALL
One easy thing to check on your setup is whether you are truly centering the ball on your club face at address. The Putter Key can help you do a quick check of this, in a few minutes to drill and center.
