THE PRODUCT

The Putter Key addresses two essential aspects of putting, aim and path.

Developed over the course of two years by a renowned European golf instructor and a former marksman, the patented Putter Key design utilizes shapes (rather than lines) to assist in aiming the putter face and develop a straight path.

Use

The Putter Key’s seamless design makes it suitable for consistent and continuous use to initiate your practice sessions and ahead of playing a round.

Initially, the Key trains the correct aim and path. Once ingrained, continued use helps the player maintain these improvements.

Same effort, lower scores.

The Putter Key is highly portable and applied in a matter of seconds, adding no time or effort to a player’s existing routine. Improvements to aim and path will result in more made putts, particularly in the 3’ to 10’ range where line trumps speed and the outcome is binary.

To be truly useful, a training aid must be as convenient as it is effective, otherwise it will get set aside.

The Putter Key has dramatically improved my putting without adding any time or effort. Completely seamless, the Key actually saves time through increased efficiency.

I use it every time I practice and ahead of every round.

WHY IT WORKS

THE PHYSICS

As the charts above show, putting is a very precise practice. Just a 2-degree error in face angle will cause a putt to miss the target by more than 2 inches from just 5 feet (edge of cup) and double that from 10 feet (well outside the hole).

Compensating for a face angle error through the path is an even more daunting challenge. Every degree of error in face angle at address requires a 4X compensation in path to get the putt on its intended line. E.G., a player whose putter face is 2 degrees open (to the right) at address will need to come over the putt and pull it 8 degrees to get back on the intended line.

The patented Putter Key was designed specifically to address these two critical components, AIM and PATH.

Anchor 2

AIM

Often taken for granted, correctly aiming the putter face is extremely difficult. An estimated 97% of amateurs are off their intended line at address and there is a physiological explanation.

Parallax is a phenomenon which creates an apparent shift of an object’s location when viewed from different angles. Parallax affects the vast majority of people and is particularly problematic in putting, as perception of the intended target identified using both eyes (binocular) from behind the ball shifts when straddling the putt at address.

Co-developed in Europe by a marksman and renowned golf instructor over the course of two years, the Putter Key utilizes shapes, rather than lines, which are far easier to align. This, along with the sizing of the device itself, better frames the ball to the target, resulting in measurable improvement on more than 85% of students over two years of testing.

PATH

The next most impacting component to starting a putt on its intended line is path. The Key design utilizes an arrow and back target circle to train a straight takeaway, promoting the correct path.

PROCESS

Understanding the challenge is critical. Using the Putter Key helps players identify and correct aim and path errors, both of which are essential.

Initiating each session focused on (re)setting the correct aim and path is the right starting point, providing a foundation for significant, long-term improvement.

EFFICIENCY

Ease of use is paramount, as a tool is only effective if used. The Putter Key is completely seamless, adding no time or effort while driving measurable, accelerated improvement.
